Learn About The Program

These program aims to promote the future exchange and cooperation among students from Thailand and Taiwan. The students from three universities had joined this program include Kasetsart University, Mahidol University, and Thamasart University. Through the teaching of classes and joining the research laboratory are able to enhance their expertise and innovation. In addition, Thai young students have a chance to visit Taiwan in order to have "information power", "innovation", and "adaptability" during join the summer school and internship program.

Expected Results

- This is a good chance to strengthen the relationship between university and country.
- Students have a chance to exchange and interact with Taiwanese students, learn about Taiwan's education, technology, and culture.
- This program is a starting point of the Ph.D exchange student program that there are four Thai Ph.D student from Kasetsart University came to NCU for short term research.
- The cooperation between universities in research perspective. Instance, IoT join lab, which is cooperative of CSIE and Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University.

Student results

- Since the Computer Science curriculum of both countries is similar, thus students could transfer the score to their host university.
- Students had been improved their skill including cooperative skill, English skill, coding skill, and solving problem skill.
- There is some student have a good performance, thus they were invited to continue in the master degree at NCU. Currently, four students had decided to do their master degree in Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering and Department of Communication Engineering.

Summer School Program 2019

The summer school program is a short-term study program for international students (2 months). Students will be stay inside NCU and attend two main activities including a seminar class and laboratory exercises. During the program, students are devided to 8 laboratories regarding to their topic/project interest. In the first month, students need to attend the seminar class provided by 8 professors and also go study in their selected laboratory. In the second month, they need to do lab's exercises and complete the study project given by the advisor. The following are details of activities.

Seminar Class

Laboratory Excercise Program

The program aims to provide more space for students, professors, and teaching assistants and assists everyone in their ability and creativity to complete the project for the final presentation July 27, 2018.
